She looks at him, makes a puppy face, and asks, 'What did you find so attractive about a crazy girl like me?'.
He smiles, takes her face in his palms, and says, 'How could anyone's heart not fall for this cute face?'
She says with a pout, 'Do you think I'm fat?' She looked no less than a little kid, she was so cute that he felt like devouring her with his eyes."
He looks at her with a big smile on his face and asks with affection, 'Aww... baby, who called you fat? You're just a cute little thing!'
She says with an innocent expression, 'Isha says that whoever calls me cute, is actually making fun of my weight.'
He gently takes her lovely face in his hands and says, 'No, baby, 'cute' is a compliment, and you are very lovely.' He then kisses her forehead.
he slowly starts moving closer to her lips, just then, a voice is heard from the gate, 'Meri aulad '(my child)
He sees the scene and his eyes widen in shock. Quickly, he turns his face away.
"Hehe, sorry bhabhi, I didn't see anything! I just came to take the dog."
"I had forgotten, but now I remember - He's not my girlfriend, He's your husband!" He laughs.
He gestures to him, saying "Come outside for a minute." He leaves Kaya , steps outside, and closes the door. Then, he grabs Mahir's arm and takes him to the terrace.
Adheer, gritting his teeth, says: "What's your problem, man? Why do you talk to me like that in front of my wife?
He turns with tears in his eyes and says:
"Friendship is no longer friendship, love is no longer love... Today, you got married and forgot about me 😭"
He turns around again, grasps his face in his hands, and says with exaggerated drama:
"You are my life! I can give my life for you!" (he says melodramatically)
He too responds with a big, fake smile: "Nice son"
As soon as he says this, he flips Mahir upside down over the terrace : "You said you'd give your life for me, right? Now, go ahead and give it!" (he says, laughing)
Hanging upside down, Mahir shouts: "Are you crazy? I'll die! I'm the uncle of your future kids. If I die, who'll change their diapers when you and Kaya Bhabhi are busy romancing, and who'll put them to sleep?"
He again breaks down into tears and says: "Bhai, please save me! I'm not even married, I don't have kids... who'll light the pyre at my funeral?"
Adheer looks at him and bursts into laughter, laughing very loudly: "Haha, you're supposed to give your life for me, but you're not even willing to do that! You're such a coward!" (he teases)
Now Mahir, angry, shouts at him: "You wretched, miserable creature! May God ensure you never get to have a wedding night! May bhabhi kick you out of the room and make you sleep on the balcony, and may you get eaten alive by mosquitoes and swell up like a balloon!"
He bursts into laughter, laughing loudly, upon hearing Mahir's words. Just then, Angad and Prisha arrive there.
They both are shocked to see Mahir hanging upside down and ask Adheer in unison: "Bhai, what's going on?"
Adheer, still laughing, replies: "Nothing, my friend was just willing to give his life for me!"
He shouts angrily while still hanging upside down: "Get lost, you idiot!"
Prisha grabs Adheer's hand and requests, "Bhai, please save Mahir, or else he's gone, and today's reception will be ruined!"
He too, listening to her words, puts his hand on the grill and asks, "Come on, tell me, who am I?" He teases her with a smile.
Angad and Prisha ask him confused, "Bhai, what are you saying? Mahir Bhai will fall, take him up!.
Poor Mahir, realizing the sarcasm and teasing tone, cries out in distress while hanging upside down: "You're my father, I'm a fool, I'm worthless, I'm useless! Forgive me, father, pull me up, I'll fall!"
He pulls Mahir's hand upwards. As soon as Mahir reaches the top, he takes a deep breath, his breathing heavy. Still catching his breath, he says: "I...I won't...leave...you, you...bastard!" Adheer bursts into loud laughter at Mahir's condition.
He chases Adheer in anger, intent on hitting him. Adheer runs into the hall where the entire family is gathered. Seeing the two of them chasing each other, everyone bursts out laughing. Adheer hides behind his mother, while Mahir tries to catch him, running around Surekha, but fails. Surekha watches her two sons, delighted by the scene.
Then he starts complaining to Surekha, "Mom, look, he hung me upside down on the terrace!"
Listening to this, Surekha's mouth falls open in shock, her eyes widening. She turns around, grabs Adheer's ear, and pulls it while scolding him, "You little devil, teasing my children like this!"
Watching Adheer get scolded, Mahir starts laughing, and the entire family joins in. While laughing, Mahir suddenly remembers something and gives Surekha a tight hug from behind. He recalls when his parents got divorced, he was left alone, and his aunt and uncle, with whom he lived, made him do all the household chores. His aunt wouldn't feed him, and his uncle would take out all his business stress on him. His cousins would make him do their school homework and bully him along with the other school kids.
He was always alone, crying, but the day he met Adheer, he got a new life. He got a family, a mother, a sister, and a brother. Because of him, his entire life changed.
Seeing this, Adheer understands what happened to Mahir and also goes to hug his mother and Mahir, saying, "I'll always be there with you, to tease you, to scold you, and to love you."
Just then, Dadi says, "That's enough, now go and get ready. The guests will be arriving soon." Everyone heads to their respective rooms to get ready.
As soon as Adheer enters his room, he sees Kaya, who is making funny faces like a little kid, pouting her lips while looking at clothes.
A smile spreads across Adheer's face as he leans against the door, gazing at her from door.
Kaya feels like someone is watching her, and she lifts her eyelashes to look towards the door, where Adheer is indeed starring at her.
He enters the room and asks her, "What are you looking at with your rabbit-like eyes?" She responds with a pout, "I'm not a rabbit!"
Hearing her words, Adheer bursts out laughing and, pinching her cheek, says, "Oh, my little rabbit!"
Then, he walks over to the sofa, picks up a packet, and hands it to her, saying, "You'll wear this today, Mrs. Kaya Adheer Shekawat." Hearing her full name from his lips, Kaya feels a sudden Shivers run through her spine.
