Sukoon

Continue from last part

The next morning, she wakes up and feels a hand on her body. At first, she's scared, but then her gaze falls on Adheer's face, who looks incredibly innocent while sleeping. Seeing him puts a smile on her face.

His eyes finally open, locking souls with hers in pure delight.

Their gazes entwine like tender vines, lost in love's sweet, endless sea...

For them, this moment blossoms like a dream nurtured patiently.

Time stands still, world fades away, leaving only heartbeats' gentle sway...

They forget life's whispers, wanting only to drown in each other's loving gray.

Just then, the sound of knocking on the door breaks the spell, and their eye contact is severed. Adheer leaves her to open the door, and she quickly covers herself with the bedsheet. When he opens the door, he finds a servant standing there, holding something wrapped in red cloth. The servant says, "Raj Mata has sent this for the new bride, dadi sa , and has instructed that she get ready with Kaira and Arohi. You shouldn't be there where the bride is getting ready."

He takes the taali from the servant's hands and enters the room, then tells Kaya, "Here, take this and get changed, then go to Prisha and Kaira's room, that's Dadi Sa's order." She takes it and heads to the washroom. Meanwhile, Adheer's attention falls on the clock and he's shocked to see it's already 9 o'clock. He can't believe he slept for so long, as he usually only sleeps for 3 hours.

But when he feels that today he's feeling something different, today there's a unique peace, a calmness he's found after many days, he whispers:

"You're no less than magic, my ocean of peace, my tranquility. I've searched for what I've found in you everywhere, but couldn't find it."

And then, a gentle smile appears on his face.

He gets ready in the guest room and heads to the study room. There, he starts checking some files when he receives a strong punch on his back, making him let out a cry of pain: "Ahhhh, who's there?!" He exclaims angrily.

When a voice comes from behind, "I'm your father, you rascal!" he says, furious.

He turns around, wincing in pain, and says, "Mahir, you idiot, why did you hit me?"

Then, he grabs his shoulder, his teeth clenched in anger, and says, "You worthless son, tell me, what's going on here? Whose wedding was this supposed to be, and whose did it end up being? And you, showering so much love on a stranger, as if you've been infatuated with her for years. Explain!"

He also retorts angrily, "Couldn't you have asked me this calmly? Was it necessary to hit me?"

He again hits his head, laughing and saying, "You stupid son of mine, you're so used to getting beaten that you don't understand straightforward talk!"

Then, Adheer shows him his eyes, clenching his teeth, and says, "Oh, great, son!" After that, he hits him, and both of them continue to hit each other. As they keep fighting, they both burst out laughing, and eventually, they fall to the ground, holding their stomachs in laughter.

Both of them stand up, exchange insults, and laughing, adheer says, "You can't be reformed!"

Mahir shamelessly retorts, "Not possible in this life, will think about it in the next one!" Then, both of them burst out laughing.

Then Mahir asks him again, "Now, will you tell me or do you want to get hit again?"

Adheer asks him in confusion, "What?"

Then he replies, "I mean, what's going on here? Because the Adheer Shekhawat I know doesn't chase after girls, girls chase after him."

He looks lost in thought and replies, "No, brother, she's not like other girls, she's different from everyone."

Mahir puts his hand on Adheer's shoulder and asks him with great affection, " toh kaisi hai teri mehboob? tu hi bata de.(So, how is your beloved? You tell me)

He says to  Mahir, lost in thoughts of her,

"Wo kya hai kaisi hai yeh sab baatein fizool hai ,wo jo hai jaisi bhi hai mujhe haar haal me qubool hai "

(What she is, what she's like - all these questions are meaningless. Whoever she is, whatever she's like, I accept her in every way.)

"He's whispering to himself, 'This guy has become a poet in just one day!'"

He asks him, "Did you say something?"

He dramatically walks up to him with an innocent expression and says, "Brother, look at my face. If I had even a little sense, I'd be the father of 10-12 kids by now. I don't understand these things, have mercy and explain it to me in simple words."

He laughs at his words and says, "Do you remember I came from the USA to India for Sananya's grandfather's funeral rites?

He asks, confused, "So, what's the connection between that and this?"

"He again answers his question, 'Yes, that day there was a lot of traffic, we were stuck in it for an hour. It was raining heavily. As soon as the green light turned on, I drove away, and just then, a girl appeared in front of my car. I was scared, but she got up again. Her face was hidden behind her scarf, but her deep blue eyes, which were no less than an ocean, captivated me. I lost my peace and tranquility that day. "

He starts speaking again, 'I don't know how it happened, but today that girl is my wife, she is my life.

Hearing this, a smirk appears on Mahir's face, and he teases him, saying, oh,mere yaar ko pyar ho gya hai.

(Oh, my friend has fallen in love!)

A smile appears on Adheer's face, and he replies, "It's not just love, it's boundless love. She's all I need now; nothing else matters. I want to live and die with her. At every turn in life, I only need her. With every breath, she has a claim on me."
