In hospital
Mahir reaches the hospital to see Aria, bringing her favorite white roses and chocolates. But as he steps inside, he realizes she's not there.
He rushes to a nurse and asks, “The patient who was here where did she go?”
The nurse replies calmly, “She left this morning.”
Hearing this, his frustration flares. “How could you let her leave?!” he demands.
The nurse, startled, stammers, “Sir, what could we do? She refused to stay and just left.”
His jaw tightens, anger boiling inside him. He storms out of the hospital, slams his hand against the car, and mutters in frustration, “This girl never listens to anyone! Thinks she’s some kind of queen. I swear, I don’t know what she was fed at birth absolutely impossible!”
Fuming, he gets into his car and speeds toward her house. His grip tightens on the steering wheel, knuckles turning white as his frustration simmers.
Thirty minutes later, he slams the brakes in front of her house. Staring at the door, he scoffs, “Miss Chingari, you’ve made a big mistake. Now, I’ll show you what happens when someone dares to ignore Mahir Shekhawat.”
He steps out of the car and knocks on the door, his impatience barely contained. A few seconds later, Aria’s mother opens it, eyeing him curiously.
"Beta, who are you?" she asks, her tone gentle yet cautious.
Mahir, flashing his most charming smile, replies sweetly, "Aunty, let’s just say I’m like a brother to your son-in-law ( Adheer Shekawat ) I came to see Aria."
Hearing his polite tone, she nods and steps aside. "Come in, beta."
Smirking to himself, he steps inside, his real intentions well hidden beneath his charm.
He steps inside, folding his hands politely. "Namaste, Uncle. I’m like a brother to your son-in-law."
Aria’s father nods with a warm smile. "Namaste, beta. Come, have a seat."
Mahir shakes his head lightly, keeping his tone respectful yet firm. "No, no, Uncle. I actually came to meet Aria. I have to leave for a meeting soon."
Uncle looks at him in confusion. “But beta, what work do you have with Aria?”
Mahir replies smoothly, “Uncle, she wasn’t feeling well yesterday, right? And she left early this morning even though I asked her not to. So, I just came to check on her.”
Uncle frowns slightly. “She didn’t tell us anything about this.”
Mahir instantly realizes that Aria never mentioned anything to her family. Quickly, he covers up, flashing an easy smile. “Oh, actually, it was nothing serious. She just felt a little dizzy probably skipped a meal or something.”
Uncle sighs in frustration, shaking his head. "This girl, I tell you... she never listens to anyone! Go on, she must be inside."
Mahir quickly joins his hands in respect and says with a small smirk, "Ji, Uncle." Then, without wasting another second, he heads inside to find Aria.
As Aria stepped out of the washroom, fresh from a shower, she stood in front of the mirror, struggling to tie the strings of her suit. No matter how hard she tried, they just wouldn’t knot properly.
Just then, a pair of firm hands gently grabbed the strings, pulling them together with ease. A deep voice, laced with mischief, whispered near her ear, "
"Haaye... yeh beparwah adayein, jaan hi le kar rahengi ek din humri."
A shiver ran down her spine as her breath hitched. She didn't need to turn around to know who it was.
She quickly turns around, eyes wide with surprise. "What are you doing here?" she demands.
He smirks, leaning slightly closer. "You’re here... so, naturally, I had to come too."
She huffs in frustration. "What kind of answer is that?"
He smirks, mischief dancing in his eyes. "The same kind as your question."
She glares at him, frustration evident in her voice. "Stop bothering me and just tell me why you’re here!"
Stepping closer, his voice drops to a teasing yet firm tone. "Because you didn’t listen to me, madam. I told you to rest, didn’t I? Then why did you come here all by yourself?"
He steps even closer, his presence overpowering, until her back meets the wall. Trapping her between his arms, he leans in, eyes locked onto hers. His voice drops to a low, demanding whisper. "Jawab do."
Her breath hitches, heart pounding as she stammers, "Wo... Aaj... meri... job... ka... interview hai."
He leans in, his lips just a breath away from hers, his voice dark and commanding. "Toh tum kahin nahi ja rahi."
Hearing this, she snaps, pushing against his chest. "Mr. Shekhawat! You can't stop me I will go!" she yells, fire in her eyes.
He looks to the side for a moment, as if considering something, then turns back, his gaze locking onto hers again. Moving even closer, his voice drops to a dangerously low whisper. "Agar tumne meri baat nahi mani... I promise, ek mahine tak tum chalne ke layak bhi nahi rahogi."
Fear flickers in her eyes as he suddenly lets go, only to scoop her up effortlessly in his arms. Before she can protest, he lays her down on the bed with a firm yet careful touch.
Tapping her cheek lightly, he smirks. "Now, be a good girl and rest. Or else... you already know how far I can go to make you listen."
Leaning down, he pulls the blanket over her, his face hovering so close that her breath catches. Her mind screams at her to move, but her body refuses to obey.
he straightens up and walks away silent, composed, and leaving behind nothing but the ghost of his touch.
______________________________________________
The clock strikes afternoon as Adheer's eyes slowly open. The warmth in his arms makes him glance down, and his
breath hitches at the sight before him
his delicate, innocent wife tangled messily against him, her bare skin flush against his.
She looks breathtaking, her lips slightly parted, her body melting into his as if she was made to fit him. A slow smirk tugs at his lips as he tucks a stray strand of hair behind her ear, his fingers trailing down to cup her cheek. He leans in, brushing a lingering, possessive kiss against her soft skin.
His gaze roams over her, and he realizes their passion had stripped her bare, leaving nothing between her and his hungry eyes. A flicker of heat surges through him, but he exhales, controlling himself. With a quiet chuckle, he pulls the blanket over her, his fingers grazing her skin one last time before tucking her securely against his chest.
After some time, Adheer steps out of the room, fully dressed and ready for his meeting. His sharp suit is in place, but there’s a certain satisfaction in his eyes a glow that doesn’t go unnoticed.
The moment he walks out, he’s met with the curious gazes of his siblings and cousins, all casually lounging in the hall. Their eyes silently question him, mischief dancing in their expressions.
He stops, arching a brow, but says nothing. Yet, they don’t need words the unspoken conversation has already begun.
Adheer glances around, shifting his gaze between their amused faces. With a casual shrug, he asks, "What? What’s with those looks?"
Before he can say anything else, Angad steps forward, placing a hand on his shoulder. Smirking, he teases, "Bade bhaiya, these days, you seem to be sleeping a lot... quite unusual, huh?"
Kiara jumps in, laughing. "Exactly! You used to be an owl at night and a lion during the day. But now? A lost puppy in the daylight and a deep-sleeping Kumbhkaran at night!"
Pihu folds her arms, shaking her head dramatically. "Have you even checked the time? It’s already noon! Do well-mannered people sleep this late?"
The teasing doesn’t stop, and Adheer sighs, running a hand through his hair. He knew this was coming.
Adheer, caught off guard, quickly fumbles for an excuse. "Uh... I have a meeting. I should get going." He adjusts his watch, trying to make a quick escape.
But just as he steps out the door, a firm hand lands on his shoulder. "Arre bade bhaiya, where are you rushing off to so soon?" Yuvraj smirks, eyes twinkling with mischief. "At least share the secret behind this... glow of yours."
Before Adheer can protest, Arohi jumps in. "Oh, forget it! He won’t tell us. Let’s just go ask bhabhi she’ll spill everything!"
With that, she turns to leave, and the rest follow, grinning. Adheer’s eyes widen in panic. "Oh, hell no."
They all freeze at his sudden, commanding tone. For a moment, silence fills the air as they exchange glances, startled by his reaction.
Then, in unison, they ask, "What happened?"
Adheer clears his throat, regaining his composure. His voice is firm but calmer this time. "She’s sleeping. No one will disturb her."
The way he says it possessive, protective makes them smirk at each other. The teasing isn’t over yet.
Shravan’s lips curl into a knowing smirk as he crosses his arms. “She’s just sleeping… or is there something more, bhaiya?” His teasing tone earns a round of suppressed chuckles from the rest.
Before Adheer can retort, Vivan suddenly shouts, “I’m going to meet bhabhi!”
With that, he takes off running toward the room, laughing mischievously.
Adheer’s eyes widen. “Vivan! Don’t you dare” But the little troublemaker is already halfway there.
He was just about to open the door near her room when Adheer yelled, 'I'll do whatever you say, just don’t open the door!'
Everyone seemed pleased after hearing his words. Prisha smirked and said, "Bhaiya, I don’t need much just hand over your credit card."
Angad chimed in, "Yeah, not much at all. Just throw in that black car and the bike too."
He asked, his voice edged with irritation, "Is that all, or is there something else?"
Everyone quickly chimed in, "Yes, that's all!"
A faint smirk played on his lips as he replied, "Good. Now, stay away from Kaya until she comes down herself. Got it?"
They exchanged glances before nodding in agreement, and with that, he walked away.
Adheer leaves for his meeting from there and arrives at his meeting.
All the partners had arrived in the meeting hall when the ones who had come to invest in their business started the presentation.
But as soon as he starts his presentation on the smart board, nothing shows up. He looks towards his employee who had prepared it, but she herself is shocked. At that moment, Adheer asks, "Mr. Ranawat, where is the presentation? Please start it, we are waiting."
He replies, "Yes, it's starting now," but despite trying hard, nothing shows up on the screen. The other partners begin to leave, and Adheer's P.A. says, "Sir, we should leave. It doesn't seem like they have prepared anything."
Adheer agrees to his P.A.'s suggestion and starts to leave. Just then, the person stops him and says, "Sir, please wait, it will start now."
But Adheer's P.A. responds, "We’ve already wasted too much time here." Adheer agrees with his P.A.'s words, and they all leave the place.
As soon as they leave, Ranawat approaches his employee and starts yelling in anger, "What is this? I told you there should be no mistakes, but you did exactly that. Why can't you do one thing right?"
She tries to speak, but he doesn't give her a chance and continues scolding her, "It was my mistake to ask someone like you to do this. Why don't you go somewhere else? You're just a burden on the earth."
She tries to speak through her tears, "Sir... sir... I... I... I did..."
But her boss interrupts, shouting even louder, "Shut up! You don't need to open that disgusting mouth of yours! You're fired!"
Just then, a voice from behind cuts through the tension, laced with sarcasm. "Wow, Mr. Ranawat. You really know how to treat your employees, don’t you? Honestly, it’s a relief you didn’t get this deal. Who knows what kind of mess you would’ve made with this project?"
It was Adheer. He let out a dry chuckle. "Good thing I forgot my phone gave me the chance to see your true colors."
He stepped forward to talk to the girl, but before he could say a word, she turned away, tears streaming down her face, and hurried out of the room.
Adheer's jaw tightened as he watched her leave. Without another word, his anger simmering just beneath the surface, he turned on his heels and walked away.
Guess who is that girl? 🦥
